It’s not every day that a museum hires a Curator. Shift Change is the first start-to-finish exhibition, put together for the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum by its new Curator, Brian Nigus. The title of the exhibit not only refers to a staff member starting their “shift,” but also references the shift that happens at a museum when a new curator is hired, acknowledging the reality of an updated vision and a broader selection of artists.
