Millinery Meet-Up, the only event of its kind, offers a five-day stay on the
campus of the Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

This unique event brings together students of millinery, suppliers, and world-
class instructors, fostering a vibrant community where they can share

experiences, build friendships, and exchange knowledge across continents.
From September 13th to 18th, 2026, Millinery Meet-Up will feature six
internationally recognized instructors. Edwina Ibbotson from London, England,
Leanne Fredrick from California, USA, Biliana Borissova from Madrid, Spain, Anél
Heyman from Queensland, Australia, Jenny Roberts from North Yorkshire, UK,
and Maor Zabar from Tel Aviv, Israel, will join the esteemed faculty.
A wide variety of classes among all skill levels will be offered including: classic
blocking techniques, ribbon work, thermoplastic flowers, feathers, crinoline
techniques, working with raw straw, silk abaca turban, and many more!
Beyond the renowned tutelage, Millinery Meet-Up will also provide a tactile
experience of millinery materials through the participation of sponsors and
millinery suppliers. Past vendors have included B Unique Millinery Supplies, Hat
Blocks Australia, Judith M Millinery Supplies, and many more, offering students
and instructors a wide range of specialty supplies and equipment.

Millinery Meet-Up is a truly unique experience for milliners of all levels. Past
students have described the Arrowmont campus, nestled in the heart of the
Smoky Mountain National Park, as ‘magical,’ providing an escape from the
hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Inspired by the abundant creativity and warm camaraderie displayed during the
previous events, Andrea and Patrycja  are thrilled to host

Millinery Meet-Up once again. Just like the previous editions of MMU were life-
changing experiences for them, they aspire to create similar transformative

moments for the next generation of milliners and hat makers.
Registration for Millinery Meet-Up will open on January 10th, 2026.
