Making Climate Change Visible

For the past year I have been knitting for the solo show now opening at the Kolman& Reeb Gallery via a 2023  Project Space Grant. My project was inspired by my observations, and then research, of the changes in the sky due to reduced emissions during the pandemic, and the effects of climate change induced forest fires, and thirdly, the aerosols of air pollution. My work includes four site specific knit wire installations reflecting the coloration of the sky due to climate change.  Smaller works of the same theme are also included.
