Finlandia Art Gallery in the Finnish American Heritage Center, Hancock, MI will be exhibiting a retrospective of art textiles for the wall by Heather Allen Hietala. Beyond the art exhibition, Allen Hietala will be teaching two workshops, Contemporary Embroidery Sampler Book and Textile Techniques with Wire for the Finnish American Folk School. Heather Allen Hietala – Evolution  will be on display in the gallery from April 12-June 5 with the opening reception on Friday, April 12th from 7-8:30 pm.
