Join us for a special free hybrid Art Speaks talk with Guest Teaching Artist Porfirio Gutiérrez. Porfirio will share his work and the significance of Zapotec weaving and dyeing traditions for his contemporary creative practice. Following Porfirio's presentation, there will be time for Q&A from the audience.

This is a hybrid presentation that will occur both in-person at Textile Center and online through Zoom.

In-person participants will have an opportunity to meet Porfirio and see examples of his work during a show and tell following the presentation. Porfirio will also have a small selection of his functional work for sale at Textile Center during this time.
