The Gallery at Yellow Studio presents Fiber Forward, a group exhibition featuring 38 women and non-binary artists examining fiber art as a site of experimentation and critical inquiry. Curated by Tina Villaveces, the exhibition runs May 30 through June 28, 2026, in Cross River, NY. Sculpture, installation, embroidery, weaving, quilts, and large-scale fiber work explore the politics of women's labor and the domestic sphere, the weight of memory and material, and the expansive possibilities of fiber as a vehicle for personal and collective meaning. An opening reception will be held Saturday, May 30, from 4 to 6pm.
