OPEN
Call for Entry: May 1-31, 2023
Fiber Art Now invites artists to submit their artwork to Excellence In Quilts 2023. We are looking for contemporary quilts of original design that show inventiveness and mastery of techniques.
Excellence In Quilts will appear in the fall 2023 issue of Fiber Art Now to be released in early October 2023. Selected quilts will be eligible for the onsite exhibition at the Texas Quilt Museum, May 2 through August 31, 2024. We are fortunate to have award-winning quilt artist Sue Benner as the juror for this exhibition.
The Texas Quilt Museum is housed in two historic 1890s buildings that provide a fine showcase for both antique and contemporary quilt art with their high ceilings, brick walls, and original hardwood floors. Home for the museum is the picturesque Central Texas town of La Grange.
