Maine Quilts 2023

Maine Quilts 2023 presented by Pine Tree Quilters Guild, Inc. July 27-29, at the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, Augusta, Maine, hours Thursday-Saturday 9 am – 5 pm.  Champagne Reception & Show Preview Wednesday, July 26, 7 – 9 pm.  Workshops with Jen Kingwell, Gyleen Fitzgerald, Ellen Lindner, Krista Moser, Jane Sassaman, Blair Stocker and Kaye Collins.  Over 500 quilts: Antique, Contemporary, Display, Judged, Raffle.  Special Exhibits: “Graffiti Challenge" by Cherrywood Fabrics; “Hortense Beck:  A Collection of Museum Reproduction Quilts” by The International Quilt Museum; “A Fortuitous Mistake:  My Accidental Show Quilt Journey” by Margaret Solomon Gun; and “Christmas in July” Challenge.  Merchants Mall, Free Demonstrations, Noon Lectures, Raffle Quilt, Quilters Walk Raffle, Children’s Classes, and Friday night dinner with keynote speaker Jen Kingwell.  Admission $15 daily; $30 multi-day; children 12 & under free with paid adult, $10 groups (14 or more) with advance registration.  Air-conditioned; convenient, free parking.  For more information visit mainequilts.org and facebook.com/MaineQuilts.
