Long Time Coming: A Retrospective Exhibit of O.V. Brantley’s Quilts

The exhibit is comprised of approximately 30 red and white quilts made by O.V. Brantley over a span of 20 years. Raised in the Jim Crow South, the quilts reflect O.V.’s history growing up during segregation, navigating integration and her life view of joy and gratitude after spending a rewarding professional career as a local government lawyer. Many types of quilting techniques are represented.
